Timeline

  1. 10:00

    National Nordic Museum

Explore the National Nordic Museum. Arrive right when it opens at 10:00 on Tuesday through Sunday to beat the crowds and enjoy the rotating art exhibits and historical artifacts in peace.

  2. 11:30

    Venture Coffee Co

Walk eight minutes to Venture Coffee Co. for a fair-trade coffee and light fare. It is an eco-conscious spot perfect for a quiet break in the morning.

  3. 12:30

    Statue of Lenin

Head east to the Statue of Lenin. This bronze statue peers out over the street below, oblivious to the continuing controversy over its display. It was salvaged and brought over from Slovakia and re-erected in 1995 in a Fremont park.

  4. 13:30

    Fremont Brewing

End your afternoon at Fremont Brewing. The local brewery features a large outdoor beer garden and a wide selection of beer available for pickup or dine-in.

Local tip

The museum is closed on Mondays. If you visit on a weekday, Venture Coffee Co is open early enough for a pre-museum caffeine fix, but arriving at 10:00 works well for the museum opening.
