Timeline

  1. 15:15

    Fremont Brewing

Start at Fremont Brewing. The Urban Beer Garden is open and spacious. Order a lager and a snack to enjoy while the afternoon light is still bright.

  2. 16:00

    Statue of Lenin

Walk to the Statue of Lenin. It is a short stroll through the neighborhood. Arrive just before the sun begins its final descent to find a good spot on the grass or steps.

  3. 16:45

    Statue of Lenin

Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, offering a clear view over the street and water. The golden light before this moment makes the bronze statue glow.

  4. 17:15

    Egan's Ballard Jam House

Head to Egan's Ballard Jam House for dinner and live music. The venue opens at 18:00, which fits perfectly after the evening sets in. It is an intimate supper club with jazz and other styles.

Local tip

The walk from the statue to the venue is about 46 minutes. If you prefer a shorter walk, consider ending your evening at a nearby pub in Fremont instead, but Egan's offers the full live music experience described in the theme.
