Find the Statue of Lenin. It sits in a quiet Fremont park, offering a clear view of the sky to the west. It is a good 47-minute walk from the anchor, so leave yourself plenty of time to arrive before the sun dips.

    Mike's Chili Parlor

Walk to Mike's Chili Parlor for a pre-show meal. This dive tavern serves spicy chili burgers and dogs. It is just a 10-minute walk from the anchor area. Note that they are cash only.

  3. 17:00

    Tractor Tavern

Head to Tractor Tavern. The venue opens at 20:00, which is shortly after sunset on this date. It is a medium-sized live music venue, typically only open during shows. Arrive early to secure a spot inside as it fills up.

  4. 18:45

    The Walrus and The Carpenter

End the night with a drink at The Walrus and The Carpenter. This excellent oyster bar is a restored historic building located just a 5-minute walk from the anchor. Be aware that there are no reservations and the wait can be 1-2 hours unless you arrive very early. If the wait is too long, the adjacent Barnacle bar is a great place to wait while sipping an Italian aperitif cocktail.
