Find your spot in Duboce Park. The N Judah streetcar runs along the perimeter, but you are here for the view. As the sun sets toward the WSW at 17:14, the park’s well-maintained grounds and the split between the dog-friendly and children-friendly sections offer a serene backdrop. The golden light from 16:35 has already softened the scene.

End the night with southern-style barbecue at Memphis Minnie's. It is only a 5-minute walk from the park. The amazing mac-n-cheese and odd selection of sake make for a memorable late dinner. It is open until 22:00 on weekdays.
Local tip
The park is split into sections. If you are with dogs, stick to the dog-friendly area for the sunset view, or move to the children’s playground side if you prefer a quieter, enclosed space.
