Timeline
18:15
Arrive at Ayn Razat early enough to find a quiet spot near the pools. The gardens are open daily during the khareef season, so check if your visit falls within those days. Enjoy the fresh air and the sound of the springs before the crowds gather.
18:45
Settle in for the final countdown. The sun sets toward the WNW, casting a soft glow over the rose gardens and caves. Since swimming is not permitted, keep your feet dry and focus on the changing colors of the sky reflecting off the water.
19:00
The sun touches the horizon. Stay for the golden light that follows, which lasts until about 18:29. The contrast between the darkening sky and the illuminated gardens is the highlight of the visit.
19:30
After the light fades, take a slow walk through the gated rose gardens. The toilets are available if needed. The area is peaceful once the main viewing moment has passed.
Local tip
