Timeline

  1. 16:46

    Le Régent

Pick up a warm crêpe or a scoop of artesanal ice cream from Le Régent. It is just one minute from the seafront anchor and perfect for eating while walking.

  2. 17:26

    Twinburger

Walk four minutes southwest to Twinburger. Even if you do not eat there, the burger restaurant sits at the edge of the seafront, offering a clear view of the western horizon as the sun begins its descent.

  3. 17:46

    Seafront

Stand on the Seafront itself. This 600 m long built extension is the liveliest part of the city. Watch the golden light hit the tropical modernist buildings and the Grande-Conche beach as the sun sets toward the WSW.

  4. 18:31

    Le First Floor

End the evening at Le First Floor. This bar is one of the main night spots, located in the shopping arcades with a view to the marina. It is seven minutes from the seafront and offers a place to sit after the light fades.

Local tip

The seafront is a transition between the city and the beach, so keep your footing steady. The architecture is best appreciated in the low angle of the late afternoon sun.

Check before you go

  • Le Régent and Twinburger are open in the late afternoon, but verify specific hours for Le First Floor if you plan to stay late for theme nights.
