Watch the sunrise at 10:18. The sun stays low all day and sets toward the SSW, casting a unique low-angle light over the course.

After the light shifts, walk southbound about 1.5 km from the crossing with Valajaskoskentie to find nearby options for breakfast or coffee. Check the route for the best path.
Local tip
It is dog friendly, but bring your own water and waste bags as there are no facilities on the course.
