Walk 3 minutes east from Arktikum to the Arctic Arboretum. This 7-hectare garden sits on the southern bank of the Ounas river. Arrive here to watch the golden light spill across the water and the hardy plant species. The sun sets toward the WNW, offering a clear view across the river.

Local tip
The building of Arktikum is quite cold in winter. Even in spring, the riverbank can be brisk. Bring a warm layer for the walk between the restaurant and the arboretum.
