Start at the parking area 1 km from the road on route 81. Take the 3.5-km nature trail through varying terrain. Reserve plenty of time to enjoy the old-growth forest and the 16-m-high waterfall. If you need assistance, use the 50-m steep wheelchair-accessible trail to the hut with a view of the rapids.

Check the route for food or drink options in Rovaniemi centre or along the road before returning.

End your trip back in Rovaniemi. The area is free to access, but bring your own supplies for lunch or snacks as there are no facilities on site.
