Timeline

  1. 08:00

Atlas Eats Kitchen and Bake Shop

Grab a light breakfast or coffee at Atlas Eats Kitchen and Bake Shop. The Bake Shop opens at 10 AM on weekdays, but since you are starting early, check if they have weekend hours or pre-packaged options available. If not, this is a great spot for a quick stop later in the day.

  2. 08:15

    Seneca Park

Walk to Seneca Park. The park opens at 7 AM, so you will have the pastoral fields and Trout Lake to yourself. Enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the view of the river overlooks.

  3. 08:45

    Middle Maplewood Park

Head to Middle Maplewood Park. Located just south of the main park area, this spot offers beautiful views of the river along the Riverway Trail. It is a peaceful place to sit and watch the water.

  4. 09:15

    Seneca Park Zoo

End your walk at the Seneca Park Zoo. While you can easily spend an afternoon here, a quick stroll through the zoo grounds is a nice way to cap off your morning. The zoo is nestled inside the park, so the transition is seamless.

Local tip

Seneca Park is large. Stick to the southern sections near Maplewood Park and the Zoo if you want to keep walks short and avoid the longer trails.
