Take the bus from Terminal Urbano to UFAC. Arrive at the lake strip before the sun begins to set. Find a spot near the picnic tables but keep well back from the water's edge. The caymans are fast and may jump from the water to dry land, so stay safe.
18:00
Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting a warm glow over the lake. Enjoy the view as the light fades.
18:30
Stay for a bit longer as it gets dark. The area is a hangout spot, so you might see others finishing their evening. Keep an eye out for the caymans even in low light, as they are active.

The bus from Terminal Urbano is your best bet for getting there. Check the route and schedule in advance as options may be limited after dark.
