Walk into the park. The large residential houses are scattered through the greenery. Find a spot with a clear view of the western horizon where the sun will drop.

  3. 16:15

    Mežaparks district

Watch the sunset. On 15 January, the sun sets toward the SW at 16:15. The golden light begins around 15:00, so you will have about an hour of soft, warm illumination on the historic villas before the sun dips below the horizon.

  4. 16:45

    Mežaparks district

Stay for the twilight. The light fades quickly in January. Use this time to appreciate the contrast between the darkening forest and the warm tones of the refurbished houses.
