Start with a drink at Skyline Bar. The windows offer a perfect vantage point, and it is easier to find a seat before the evening rush.

Walk five minutes to Esplanade Park. This is the viewing spot. As the sun sets toward the SW, the park fills with the golden light described for this time of year.

End the evening with coffee and vegetarian food at Miit Coffee, just seven minutes walk from the park. It stays open late, so you can linger.
Local tip
Skyline Bar can get crowded after 23:00, so arriving early helps secure a window table.
