Timeline

  1. 15:34

    Perlan

Grab an ice cream at Perlan before the light fades. The café is open until 18:00, so you have time to eat with a view of the city and the mountain.

  2. 15:54

    Arnarhóll

Walk up Arnarhóll, the hill next to the centre. It is named after Iceland's first settler, Ingólfur Arnarson. Climb to the top for a clear view towards the southwest.

  3. 16:19

    Arnarhóll

Watch the sun set toward the SW. The light will be low and golden as it dips below the horizon.

  4. 16:49

    Kaffismiðja Íslands

End your evening with a warm coffee at Kaffismiðja Íslands. The baristas are among the best in Iceland and the big windows let in the last of the twilight.
