Walk to Otanlahti Beach. This is a fairly long stretch of sandy beach located a few kilometres out of town. Find a comfortable spot on the sand facing west.

Watch the sunset. On 15 July the sun sets at 22:52, heading toward the NW. The golden light starts about 21:34, giving you plenty of time to prepare your view.

End the night at Rantatalo. This café is open late on Friday and Saturday (21:00-02:00), making it the ideal place to stay for a drink after the sun goes down. It is located very close to the beach.
Local tip
Lehtola is open from 11:00 to 16:00 in summer, so arrive early if you want to secure a seat before the evening rush. Rantatalo is only open late on Fri-Sa, so check if your visit falls on one of those days.
