Timeline
20:29
Start with dinner at one of the city's most famous seafood restaurants. Order the southern king crab and enjoy the service while the light is still bright.
21:33
Walk up to the coastal road viewpoint. Find a spot facing southwest to watch the sun set over the strait. Look for cormorants and other birds in the fading light.
22:18
Head to the cozy grandma-style café nearby. It is usually full, so go early. Order a hot chocolate or tea to warm up as the evening chill sets in.
Local tip
La Chocolatta is small and gets busy. If you want to sit down, arrive right when it opens or just before sunset. The view from Costanera del Estrecho is best when the sun is low and the sky is darkening.
