Timeline
08:00
Enter Taman Bunga Nusantara as the gates open. The 23-hectare park is best explored in the cooler morning hours. Grab a Wira-wiri (Rp5,000) for the cheapest way to cover ground, or walk if you prefer to stop frequently for photos of the global flower collections.
09:30
Take a break at the park. Use this time to wander the flower gardens, try the maze, or let the children play at the adjacent Alam Imajinasi leisure park. If you need a rest, the giant clock and tower offer a good vantage point.
10:30
Walk to the Taman dan Arena Bermain. This spot offers a different perspective of the park’s layout and play areas. It is a 57-minute walk from the main anchor, so allow plenty of time if you are taking the tram or Wira-wiri part of the way.
Local tip
The park is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and until 17:30 on weekends. Entrance is Rp40,000, and children under four enter for free.
Check before you go
- Check opening hours for weekends if visiting Saturday or Sunday, as closing time is 30 minutes later.
- The walk to the viewing spot is long (57 minutes). Consider using the garden tram or Wira-wiri to get there.
