Head to Playa Carrizalillo. If you are not up for the 167 steps from the street, take a taxi down. Find a spot on the sand or a lounger near the water’s edge as the sky begins to change color.

Watch the sun dip toward the WNW. The water reflects the golden light, and the small bay offers a protected view away from the larger surf breaks.

Walk over to Secret Spot for a final drink or dessert. It is close by and stays open well into the evening, perfect for winding down after the sunset.
Local tip
Playa Carrizalillo is small and can get busy. Arriving an hour early ensures you get a good spot without the rush. Remember the steep steps if you walk down from the street.
