Watch the sun rise. On January 15 it appears at 07:06. On April 15 it is up by 06:00. In July the light starts early at 05:18. In October it rises at 06:53. The horizon is clear to the west and west-southwest. The surf can be rough, so stay back from the water's edge.

The light is bright and golden now. The beach is empty. Enjoy the silence and the view of the dunes. There are no shops or cafes open this early on the beach itself. You will need to head back toward town to find food or coffee once the sun is fully up.
Local tip
