Drive west along US-101 to the lake. The water runs right along the road. Pull over at a viewpoint to watch the sky change as the sun sets toward the WSW.

Stay by the water as the golden light fades. The pristine blue water meets the mountain ranges in the twilight.

Head to the Lake Crescent Lodge. It is the best spot to play in the water or just sit and enjoy the evening atmosphere after dark.
