Walk to La Isla, the island park on the River Jerte. Park on the western bank on Av. Del Valle, as driving is not allowed on the island. Spend the last half hour of daylight walking the paths and watching the light fade over the water.

Head to Restaurante Los Monges for dinner. It is a short walk from the park. Order pork or seafood entrees followed by dessert courses in a relaxed setting.
