Walk to the Peace Memorial Rose Garden. It is just four minutes away from where you started. Find a bench or a quiet corner near the rose beds. The garden faces west, giving you a clear view of the river and the sky changing colour.

Watch the sun set. The light will turn golden and then fade as the sun dips toward the WSW. This is the moment the sky over the Swan River shifts from blue to orange.

Chelsea Pizza is open until 22:00, so you have plenty of time after the sunset. The walk from the pizza place to the rose garden is short, but the garden is a peaceful spot to wait for the light to change.
