15:45
Walk to Rideau Hall. The grounds are open for unguided open-house tours in the afternoon during this season. Arrive early enough to explore the exterior and gardens while the light is still good.

Find a quiet spot on the grounds facing west. The sun sets toward the WSW, offering a clear view of the sky brightening before it dips below the horizon.
17:30
End the evening back at the pub for a late dinner or a final drink. The atmosphere is lively and the doors are still open.
