Walk to Commissioners Park. Located adjacent to Dows Lake, this spot features flower beds arranged by colour in attractive patterns. In May it is famous for the Festival of Tulips, but in January it offers a quiet, open space to watch the water.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW over the lake. The golden light fades quickly, but the view of the water and the park's layout remains striking as the day ends.
Local tip
Pub Italia is open from 16:00 on Mondays, so you can arrive just before sunset. Check the route from Little Italy to Commissioners Park, as it is a short walk but not a straight line.
