Timeline

  1. 09:00

    Sognsvann

Take Metro line 5 to Sognsvann station. Step out into the Marka forest and walk the easy path around the lake. The meadows are quiet in the morning and the water is still.

  2. 09:45

    Swimming (outdoor, freshwater)

Walk 47 minutes ESE to the freshwater swimming spot in Akerselva. The water is considered clean north of Nydalen. It is a good spot to pause and look at the flowing water, even if you do not swim.
