Walk 12 minutes northwest to Balqaragai. This is the viewing spot. Arrive with 15 minutes to spare to find a comfortable position facing west-southwest as the sky begins to shift color.

Watch the golden light hit the landscape and the sun set toward the WSW. The view is open and clear, perfect for the final moments of daylight.

Walk back 12 minutes to town. It is still early enough to visit Tolganai Shaykhana, which stays open until 18:00, for a second round of tea or a quiet moment to digest the view.
Local tip
The museum is open until 16:00, so you will not have time to visit it before sunset. Consider visiting it earlier in the day or on a different trip. Tolganai Shaykhana closes at 18:00, so do not linger too long after the walk back if you want to eat inside.
