Walk nine minutes south to Panorama Point. This small clearing on Bukit Jungut Batu offers nice views over Jungut Batu. You will find yourself here naturally on the main road, so you do not need to seek it out. Arrive by 18:15 when the golden light starts, just before the sun sets toward the WSW.

Head to Pisang-Pisang for dinner. This chill hangout serves delicious smoothies, fresh juices, and healthy meals all day. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. It is a great place to sit back and chat after the walk.

End the evening at Scooby Doo Beach Bar. This beachside bar is especially popular with the Australian surfing crowd. Expect cold beers and plenty of chat about waves. It is often busy from 18:00 to 22:00, making it the perfect spot to wind down after dark.
Local tip
The sun sets toward the WSW in January. Panorama Point faces the view, so you will see the sunset clearly. Bring a light layer as it gets cooler after the sun goes down.
