Stand at the viewing spot in the reserve. At 17:41 on January 15, the sun sets toward the WSW. The low winter light will cast long shadows through the valley as the sky turns.

Local tip
The walk from the store to the reserve takes about 16 minutes. Bring a light layer as it gets colder near sunset in January.
