    Tyne Bar

Grab a pint at the Tyne Bar. It is open from 12:00 to 21:00, so you have plenty of time before the sun goes down. The beer garden is a pleasant spot to settle in before the walk.

  2. 15:39

    The Biscuit Factory

Walk up to The Biscuit Factory. This is Britain's biggest original art store, featuring two floors of exhibition space and artist studios. You can browse paintings, sculptures, and ceramics by contemporary artists from around the world. The gallery is free and open until 17:00, so you can easily spend your pre-sunset time here.

  3. 16:09

    The Biscuit Factory

Stay inside or on the upper terrace for the sunset moment. On 15 January, the sun sets at 16:09 toward the SW. The large windows and open spaces of the factory offer excellent views of the sky changing color as the light fades.

  4. 16:24

    Tyne Bar

Head back down to the Tyne Bar for a nightcap. The live music often starts in the evening, and the atmosphere is lively as the city transitions into night.
