Drive to Smyrna Dunes Park and park. The entrance is open daily from sunrise to sunset, so you can arrive before the sun comes up. Find a spot on the dunes facing the ocean.

Stand on the dunes and watch the sunrise. The park sits at the northern tip of the peninsula where the Ponce Inlet, Intracoastal Waterway, and Atlantic Ocean meet. The sun rises toward the WSW, offering a clear view over the water.

Walk to Playa Bowls for breakfast. It is open from 07:00 to 20:00 daily, so it is ready for you after the sunrise. Grab an acai bowl or sandwich to start your day.
Local tip
The park is $3.50 per vehicle. Playa Bowls is open early, but other shops on Flagler Avenue may not open until later in the morning.
