Stand among the two cemeteries honoring the Paraguayan and Bolivian soldiers. The early morning light casts long shadows over the graves of the over 1000 soldiers who died in the battle between 26 February and 10 March 1933. Let the quiet of the historic site settle in as the sun rises toward the WSW.

Stay for a moment of reflection. The open space of the battlefield offers a clear view of the sky brightening. There is no specific viewing alignment required, just take in the scale of the landscape where one of the major conflicts of the Chaco War took place.
