Find a quiet spot on the grounds or near the entrance. The Chaco sky opens up wide here. As the sun dips toward the W, the golden light (starting around 18:18 on April 15) bathes the landscape in a warm, dusty glow. It is the perfect moment to watch the peccaries settle in for the evening or simply take in the vastness of the reserve.

After dark, gather at the guest house or the center's common area. Since the center is isolated and you need to bring all supplies, this is the time to enjoy the dinner and drinks you brought with you. The dorm rooms and kitchen are available for visitors staying two or more days, making it a cozy spot for a quiet meal under the stars.

Local tip

The center is remote. You must bring all food and drink supplies with you, as there are no shops nearby. Booking the guest house is required for stays of two or more days.
