Watch the sunset at 17:24. The sky turns warm as the sun sets toward the WSW, casting long shadows across the valley.

Head back 5 minutes WSW to Sagarmatha Next. The museum is open until 16:00, so it will be closed. Instead, find a quiet spot nearby or return to the café area to digest your thoughts and the day's hike.
Local tip
The walk from the café to the viewpoint is short but can be chilly once the sun drops. Bring a light jacket.

- Himalayan Java Namche Bazar is open Mo-Su 06:00-20:00.
- Sagarmatha Next is open 07:00-16:00, but it closes before sunset. Use it as a starting point or end point during the day, not for the sunset sequence.
