Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC)
Head to the saucer-shaped viewing tower of the Kenyatta International Conference Centre. Pay the Ksh 500 entrance fee (for non-citizens) and go up. The 360-degree view over the sprawling metropolis is the main event. If the smog and fog are light, you might see as far as the national park.

Walk down to KK Restaurant, just a short seven-minute stroll from the tower. This downtown eatery is well-known for economical African fare. Order beef stew with managu or grilled tilapia. It is a solid, local option that fits the evening timeline perfectly, as it stays open until 19:00.

Finish the night with a drink at Club LA. It is one of the nicer dance clubs in Nairobi, located just nine minutes from your dinner spot. A beer costs around Ksh 200. It is open from 8 PM till late, so you will have plenty of time to settle in after sunset.
Local tip
KK Restaurant serves breakfasts too, but for an evening plan, their African fare like goat meat and njahi is the highlight. Club LA has no fee to go in, but expect to pay for drinks.
