Walk up to the Visegrád Citadel. Use the time to explore the walls and the old tower before the crowds arrive for the main event.

Friar Julian Observation Tower
Head to the Friar Julian Observation Tower. It is a 59 minute walk from the Citadel, so you should leave the Citadel around 30 minutes before sunset. From this height, watch the sun sink toward the WSW over the Danube Bend.
Local tip
The walk between the Citadel and the tower is long. Plan your timing carefully so you are at the top exactly when the golden light hits the water.
