    Pick up a drink or light snack at Muscat Light Restaurant & Coffeeshop. It is a good spot to rest and plan the short walk to the park.

    Riyam Park

    Walk 24 minutes northwest to Riyam Park. Climb up to the giant incense burner on the hillside for the best vantage point.

    Riyam Park

    Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The light from the incense burner structure frames the horizon perfectly.

    Matrah Cornice

    Walk 31 minutes west-northwest to Matrah Cornice. Stroll along the beach as the city lights begin to turn on.

Local tip

The walk from the museum area to Riyam Park is about 24 minutes. Check the route if you are starting from Bait Al Zubair Museum, as the directions are not direct.
