The sun sets toward the WSW on 15 January. Position yourself near the lake in Westpark with that direction in view for the best sunset. Check the route from Heckenstallerpark to the café if you need specific walking directions.

- Hopfengarten closes at 19:00 on weekdays. If you are visiting on a Sunday, it closes at 19:00 as well. Plan to arrive before then.
- Café Gans am Wasser closes at 18:00. Arrive early if you want to enjoy the golden light there.
