Walk south to the Deutsches Museum. The 31-minute walk gives you time to transition from the city center to the museum island. Arrive just in time to find a good spot on the grounds or the riverbank facing west. The golden light hits the museum’s massive structure and the Isar river beautifully around 15:56.
