Walk 14 minutes east from the Club Hotel to the Talmoi Picnic Races. Follow the Carnarvon Highway north for 53 km, turn left into Boomi Street in Garah, and find the races. This is one of Australia's oldest picnic race meetings and a fun family day out.

Watch the sunset over the racecourse. On mid-July evenings, the sun sets toward the WNW around 17:20, casting golden light that starts about 16:45. Enjoy the atmosphere of the final leg of the Golden Triangle Bush Races.
