Notre-Dame Basilica

Basilique Notre-Dame

Probably the city's most spectacular church, a gem of Victorian Gothic. Service is at 17:00 daily and on Sunday morning. Entrance is free for worship, but donations are suggested. During service, the organ music is not to be missed. While it shouldn't have to be mentioned, tourists should be respectful during services. Photography is not allowed during services. 20-minute guided tours offered in French or English.

Musée des ondes Emile Berliner

The Musée des ondes Emile Berliner is a science and history museum dedicated to communicating the heritage of the audio industry in Canada and the world. In line with this, it pays tribute to Emile Berliner, the inventor of the Gramophone, and his descendants’ contributions to the evolution of sound recording. Moreover, the museum looks at the noteworthy contributions of Canadian companies in the 19th and 20th centuries, highlighting the role of Canadian companies and RCA Victor in the creation of satellites and the Canadarm. Bleu Blanc Rouge skating rink

This refrigerated rink is a donation from the Montreal Canadiens children's foundation, and is normally open longer than regular rinks in Montreal. Call before going to be sure it's open.

Stade olympique

Olympic Stadium

Built for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, this amazing and controversial building's tower (from which the roof is suspended) is the world's tallest leaning structure. The roof, which could originally be raised, has been replaced numerous times and is the source of great local controversy. You can take a funicular to the top of the Olympic Tower for an incredible view of the city. Also has a public sports center that includes an Olympic-size swimming pool. The area around the stadium is a mecca for skateboarding, BMX-biking, and even snowboarding. the many slanted walls, hand rails and stairs give participants a concrete playground to entertain themselves.

Goliath

Goliath is a steel roller coaster at La Ronde amusement park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Designed by Bolliger & Mabillard, it reaches a maximum height of 174.8 feet (53.3 m), a speed of 68.4 miles per hour (110.1 km/h) and a track length of 4,038.8 feet (1,231.0 m). Construction commenced in September 2005, and the roller coaster opened to the public on May 13, 2006.
