Timeline

  1. 16:48

    Jardin botanique de Montréal

Walk the themed gardens. The autumn light is soft and long, perfect for seeing the colors of the Japanese and Chinese gardens before the sun dips. Note that in November and early spring, only the greenhouses are open, so this plan works best from early September to mid-May when the outdoor gardens are accessible.

  2. 17:53

    Byblos

Head to Byblos for dinner. This Iranian restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in the city, offering amazing food quality at reasonable prices. It is located near Parc Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier, a short walk from the garden's western side. The kitchen is open until 23:00, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed meal.

  3. 18:53

    Byblos Le Petit Café

End the evening with a drink at Byblos Le Petit Café. Located just a short walk from your dinner spot, this café offers a quiet space to unwind after dark. It stays open until 23:00, so you can linger over a coffee or tea as the city settles down.

Local tip

The garden is located at boul Pie-IX. Check the metro route from Pie-IX station if you are not driving. Byblos and Byblos Le Petit Café are both near Parc Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier, making the transition from dinner to drinks easy on foot.
