Arrive at Morgan Arboretum and take Chemin Sainte-Marie east, then left on Chemin des Pins. The 245-hectare forest reserve is open from 09:00 to 16:00, so you will have the whole space to yourself before the crowds arrive for the evening light.

Find a clear path through the trees facing west. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting long shadows through the branches as the golden light begins at 17:29.

Watch the sun dip below the horizon at 18:10. The forest cools quickly, and the fading light turns the canopy into a deep, quiet blue.
Local tip
The arboretum closes at 16:00 for general entry, but the grounds remain accessible for the evening walk if you entered before closing. Check the route for any evening transport back to downtown.
