Diósgyőri Papermill Museum of the Paper Industry

Arrive at the Diósgyőri Papermill Museum of the Paper Industry right when it opens. The guidance is in Hungarian only, but the visual story of the historical artefacts and the workshop on the first floor is clear. Watch how the hand-made paper is prepared in the historic manufacturing process.

  2. 11:00

Head west toward Diósgyőr Castle. The museum is located west of the castle, so this is a short walk through the historic area. Look for a local café or bakery near the castle grounds for a coffee and a snack to recharge.

  3. 11:30

Explore the castle grounds and the surrounding Diósgyőr district. This is the quietest time to wander, away from the peak afternoon crowds. Enjoy the atmosphere of this historic neighborhood.
