Pick up a pizza slice and a drink at Planet Pizza. It is a casual spot with video games, so it is easy to grab food and go. The staff will pack it up for you to take outside.

Walk to the Scandinavian Heritage Park. Find the stave church. The sun is low and casting long, warm shadows across the 230-year-old Norwegian house and the wooden church structure. This is the best time to see the textures of the wood before it gets dark.
17:18
Stand by the stave church as the sun dips below the horizon. The sky turns blue and the lights inside the park begin to glow. The WSW sunset aligns perfectly with the open space of the park.

End the evening at South Hill Complex. It is a short walk southeast. The playground and courts are empty now, offering a quiet place to finish your drink and let the evening cool down.
Local tip
Check the route to South Hill Complex from the park, as it is a 17-minute walk. Bring a jacket as the temperature drops quickly after sunset.
