Timeline

  1. 10:00

    Bar Bianco

Start with a coffee at Bar Bianco. It is cash only, so have your euros ready. The bar opens at 09:00, so you will beat the rush of clubbers and locals alike.

  2. 10:25

    Castello Sforzesco

Walk seven minutes to the castle. Arrive at 10:00 when the gates open. The morning light hits the corner towers sharply, making the stone textures stand out. Explore the courtyards before the tour groups arrive.

  3. 11:00

    Sempione Park

Step out the back into Sempione Park. It is only seven minutes from the castle entrance. The neoclassical gardens offer a quiet green contrast to the fortress walls. Sit on a bench and watch the city breathe.
