Timeline
18:03
Start with a strong coffee and a pain au chocolat at Brewklyn. The patio is comfortable and the WiFi is free, giving you a quiet moment to settle in before the walk.
18:33
Walk to the center of Parque Mariscal Sucre. Find a spot near the Kiosko Mariscal Sucre and the lion sculptures. The towering hardwood trees provide shade, but as the sun gets lower, the light filtering through the leaves will create a warm, golden atmosphere around the fountain.
19:18
Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WNW, casting long shadows across the park and illuminating the Kiosko in a final burst of golden light.
19:48
End the evening with a craft beer at Hop the Beer Experience. The trendy vibe and mind-boggling array of taps make it a perfect spot to unwind after the walk. Note that it opens at 14:00 on weekdays, but on weekends it opens at 14:00 as well, so you are well within hours.
Local tip
Brewklyn closes at 17:00 on weekends, so if you are visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, arrive earlier than 16:00 to ensure you get your coffee before they close. On weekdays, they stay open until 20:00.
