Timeline

  1. 17:00

    Centenario 107

Grab a craft beer and settle in at the garden of Centenario 107. It is just two blocks from the museum and opens early enough to beat the afternoon heat. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed before the evening party crowd arrives.

  2. 17:33

    Museo Frida Kahlo

Walk to the Museo Frida Kahlo. The indigo walls of La Casa Azul glow with a warm, golden hue as the sun begins its descent. Use this time to explore the preserved house and courtyard while the light is soft and the shadows are long. Check the route for access.

  3. 18:18

    Museo Frida Kahlo

Stand in the courtyard or near the windows to watch the sunset. The western light will fade quickly, leaving the blue facade in twilight. This is the peak moment of the visit.

  4. 19:03

    Viveros de Coyoacán National Park

End your evening with a stroll through Viveros de Coyoacán National Park. It is a short walk west from the museum. The large greenspace offers a quiet, shaded place to digest your day and reflect on the art you just saw.

Local tip

The museum can get crowded. Arriving an hour before sunset helps you secure a spot inside before the evening rush. Centenario 107 is open daily from 09:00, so your early start is safe.
