Arrive at Maha Vihara Maitreya as it opens for the day. The complex is spacious, allowing you to wander freely among the statues of Buddha Sakyamuni and the Bodhisattvas in the main hall. To the left, take a moment to observe the koi fish in the pond, and look for the intricate carvings of dragons, kirin, and phoenixes that decorate the architecture.

Head to the right wing of the complex. Here you will find a vegetarian canteen and a coffeehouse. Grab a light meal or a coffee to recharge. This is a convenient spot to rest inside the complex grounds before moving on.

Finish your visit by browsing the souvenir shop located in the same right wing area. It is a good place to pick up a keepsake before you leave the serene environment of the temple.
