Start early with an early dinner at El Presidio Cocina de México. The courtyard is in a restored 100-year-old building and the Mexican food is excellent. Being here two hours before sunset ensures you get a table and can enjoy the atmosphere before the crowds arrive.

Walk to Olas Altas Beach. This lovely curving beach serves the Centro Historico residents and is only four blocks west of the Plaza Machado. It is a great spot to wait for the sun to dip below the horizon, offering a view of the WSW sunset.
17:56
Head to Mariscos Bahía for fresh seafood. It is an amazing regional spot just a short walk from the beach. The timing allows you to eat while the sky is still transitioning from golden light to twilight.

End the evening at La Querencia Bar. With decently-priced beer and outdoor seating, it is the perfect place to unwind after dinner. Live music plays on Saturdays, adding to the local vibe.
