Head to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Take the elevator to the 70th floor. Arrive early to secure a spot near the glass for the best unobstructed views of the setting sun.

Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant
After the view, walk 12 minutes to Grand Central Terminal. Dine at the Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant, an historic institution opened in 1913. The seafood and atmosphere provide a classic New York finish to the evening.
Local tip
The Oyster Bar is an institution, but reservations are highly recommended. If you cannot book ahead, be prepared for a wait or consider visiting the bar area for drinks first. Check the route from the observation deck to Grand Central, as the walk is about 12 minutes.
